Department of Church and Ministry
The Department of Church and Ministry provides energy and direction to the ongoing development and support of ordained, licensed and commissioned ministers and the churches they serve. The working groups are:
Credentialing
Dealing with issues of standing for authorized ministers (ordained and licensed) of the WRA UCC.
Discernment of Call
Assisting in the discernment and nurture of people responding to God's call to ordained and commissioned ministry.
Pastor Parish
Assisting ministers and congregations in nurturing healthy relationships as well as providing assistance to troubled relationships.
Other areas of our work include the orientation of ministers new to the WRA, continuing education and boundary training, representing the WRA at installations and ordinations and addressing other ministry issues as they arise.
